Israeli settlers storm the Al-Aqsa Mosque and prepare to storm it again on the Jewish Passover

Dozens of settlers stormed, this morning, Monday, April 4, 2022, the Al-Aqsa Mosque from the Mughrabi Gate, under the protection of the Israeli occupation police.

Local Palestinian sources reported that settlers conducted a “preparatory” storming of the courtyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque, in preparation for the so-called “Passover” Jewish holiday, which will take place between15-23 April.

The sources indicated that a number of settlers' rabbis and major religious institutes participated in the "preparatory intrusion"; During which they discussed the performance of Talmudic rituals at Al-Aqsa.

In the same context, 73 settlers stormed the courtyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque, under heavy guard by the Israeli occupation police, on the third day of Ramadan.

The same sources indicated that dozens of settlers stormed the Al-Aqsa Mosque from the "Mughrabi Gate" side, carried out provocative tours, and performed Talmudic rituals in its courtyards, especially the eastern region.

It is noteworthy that the daily incursions into Al-Aqsa are aimed at perpetuating a new reality inside the mosque, through the daily incursions on morning and evening periods, targeting the eastern area from the Marwani chapel to the Bab al-Rahma chapel.

Since the occupation of Jerusalem in 1967, the occupation authorities have controlled the keys to the "Mughrabi Gate", and carried out daily incursions through it.
