The Israeli occupation authorities renewed a decision to confiscate about 16.5 dunums of the lands of Deir Sharaf and Naqoura, west of Nablus.
The head of the Joint Services Council for the villages northwest of Nablus, Muhammad Azim, said that the occupation authorities handed over a decision to renew the confiscation of 16,583 dunums of lands from the towns of Naqoura and Deir Sharaf for military purposes until 2027.
Azem added that the actual area is larger than the area mentioned in the decision, stressing that land owners have papers proving their ownership of them.
Azem pointed out that the lands are located in Basin No. 12 of Naqoura lands, and Basin No. 10 of Deir Sharaf lands, adjacent to the Shafi Shomron settlement built on citizens' lands.
