We are pleased to announce that Mr. Azril Mohd Amin, Chairman of CENTHRA (Centre for Human Rights Research and Advocacy), will be participating as a speaker in the South East Asia Young Lawyers Training Series.
Mr. Azril is a senior legal practitioner and human rights advocate with more than 18 years of experience in law, policy, and civil society leadership. He has specialized expertise in Human Rights Law, Refugee and Stateless Persons Issues, International Human Rights Mechanisms (including the UN Universal Periodic Review - UPR), Public Policy, and Legal Reform.
He has published and advocated widely on human rights in Malaysia and Southeast Asia, stateless children and refugee protection, the role of civil society in global justice, and legal and policy reform for good governance.
