Justice Initiative for Victims of Genocide and Support for the International Criminal Court

We, the undersigned lawyers and legal professionals, declare our full support for justice for the victims of genocide in Palestine and our unwavering endorsement of the International Criminal Court (ICC) and its independence, in the face of all forms of pressure and sanctions targeting the Court or its Prosecutor.
Driven by our professional and ethical responsibility to uphold human dignity and the rule of law, we refuse to remain silent in the face of genocide, war crimes, and crimes against humanity committed against the Palestinian people in Gaza and the West Bank. We therefore call for the following:

1- To enable the International Criminal Court to carry out its mandate freely and without any political interference.

2- To lift all sanctions imposed on the Court or its Prosecutor.

3- To expedite the issuance of arrest warrants for all political and military officials responsible for committing these crimes.

4- To ensure the unhindered and unconditional delivery of humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip.

International justice is not a political option—it is a humanitarian and moral obligation. Standing together as lawyers and legal professionals from across the globe is an expression of our solidarity with the victims and our commitment to the principle of accountability and the fight against impunity.

Accordingly, we call on our colleagues around the world to join us. We affirm that our gathering will take place at the International Criminal Court in The Hague on Friday, October 24, 2025, at 3:00 PM (The Hague local time). We also encourage our fellow lawyers and legal professionals in other countries to hold simultaneous (or near-simultaneous) gatherings in front of judicial and bar institutions in their respective countries.

Note: The signed petition will be submitted to the International Criminal Court in affirmation of the above demands
