Last September witnessed the killing of 13 Palestinian civilians, including a boy and a woman, the injury of 214 others, and the arrest of 235 Palestinians.
This was documented in a report monitored by the official Palestinian Agency in its eighth monthly report on the violations of the Israeli occupation and settlers.
Wafa documented, in its report, 49 violations by settlers, and decisions to seize 48,700 dunams east of Bethlehem, and raze 32 others, during the mentioned month.
Dead and wounded
The report clarified that the martyrs are: Raed Yousef Jadallah, 39, from Ramallah, Ahmed Mustafa Saleh, 27, from Jabalia, the Jerusalemite doctor Hazem Al-Jolani from Jerusalem, the freed prisoner who was ill with cancer, Hussein Masalma, 39, from Bethlehem, and Muhammad Ali Khabisa. 28, from Beita, south of Nablus.
Among the martyrs are also Ahmad Zahran, Mahmoud Humaidan, and Zakaria Badwan, all of whom are from the town of Bedouin northwest of Jerusalem, and the liberated prisoner Osama Yasser Sobh, 22, and the boy Youssef Muhammad Fathi Sobh, 16, both are from the town of Burqin, west of Jenin.
The report documented the death of the girl Israa Khaled Khuzaymah, 30, a mother of four children from the town of Qabatiya, south of Jenin.
Among the martyrs were Alaa Nasser Muhammad Zayoud, 22, from Jenin, and Muhammad Abd al-Karim Ammar, 41, from east of al-Bureij camp in the middle of the Gaza Strip.
The report documented 214 injuries, including 40 with live bullets, 131 with rubber-coated metal bullets, while 43 sustained bruises and burns.
Arrests
Wafa documented 235 cases of arrests by the Israeli occupation forces, including 22 children, from different governorates of the West Bank.
The detainees were from different Palestinian governorates, including Jerusalem, as follows: Jenin 47, Tubas 5, Tulkarm 5, Nablus 5, Qalqilya 1, Salfit 2, Ramallah and Al-Bireh 43, Jericho 1, Jerusalem 46, Bethlehem 27, Hebron 50.
The Israeli occupation forces arrested 3 citizens from the Gaza Strip, near the eastern border of Gaza City.
Demolitions and demolition notifications
The Israeli occupation authorities demolished 7 residential and commercial facilities during the month of September, they were as follows: a residential facility in Jenin Governorate, 3 commercial facilities in Nablus, a residential facility in Jerusalem, and two residential facilities in Bethlehem.
Four citizens were notified of razing their lands which are planted with grapes in the town of Battir, west of Bethlehem.
Settlers' attacks
The report documented 49 attacks by settlers during last September targeting citizens, their properties and their holy sites in the West Bank, including Jerusalem, which resulted in dozens of injuries, including children.
Among these violations, storming the archaeological site in the town of Sebastia, north of Nablus, by dozens of settlers and under the protection of the occupation army, attacking a house in the village of Burin to the south of Umm Ayman Soufan and smashing its windows, attacking two vehicles with stones and destroying crops in its surroundings. The settlers attacked another house in the village, and attacked the Al-Lubban Al-Sharqiya Girls School, south of Nablus.
In Hebron, settlers prevented the arrival of a drinking water tank owned by Jihad Ibrahim to prevent him from reaching the residents of the Birin area in the Masafer Yatta area in the south.
An 8-year-old boy was injured when settlers run over him near the Kiryat Arba settlement. The settlers also smashed citizens' vehicles, and attacked a number of houses in Jaber neighborhood in the Old City, under the protection of the Israeli occupation army.
Settlers attacked citizens of the families of Al-Muhtasib, Al-Bitar, Qafisha and Abu Hadid, under the protection of the Israeli occupation soldiers, near the Ibrahimi Mosque in the Old City in the center of Hebron, causing bruises to a number of them.
A number of citizens were injured during an attack by settlers on the village of Susiya, near Yatta, in conjunction with a visit by a EU delegation to the village. The settlers attacked shepherds, prevented them from grazing their livestock on their lands, and forced them to leave them.
The settlers set up a tent and a mobile home on the lands of Khirbet al-Muzaqih, meters away from an occupation army camp in the northern Palestinian Valley.
A settler fired live bullets at three children between the ages of 13-14 years, near the junction of the town of Al-Ram, north of Jerusalem.
Settlers opened fire at the house of Jamal Eseifan, in Wadi al-Hussein area in the Old City of Hebron, near Kiryat Arba settlement, causing material damage. They also smashed 3 vehicles owned by the al-Razem family in the same area.
The settlers attacked citizens and their homes in several communities in the areas of Al-Mafqarah, Al-Lithwani, Lasifer and Umm Al-Toba in Masafer Yatta, destroyed a number of their vehicles and solar panels, uprooted dozens of trees, and damaged plantations.
In Jerusalem, two young men were injured, who are Walid Samir Abu al-Hawa, 25, and Muhammad Abu Nab, from the town of Silwan. Abu al-Hawa sustained bruises and fractures in his body, after a settler ran over him in the town of al-Tur, while Abu Nab sustained injuries to his back, after he was stabbed by a settler.
A group of settlers from Ma'ali Amos beat the two brothers Suleiman and Odeh Al-Rashaida in the village of Al-Rashaida, east of Bethlehem, and forced them to leave the place.
