Israeli occupation forces arrest 18 Palestinians from the West Bank

Israeli occupation forces today detained at least 18 Palestinians in raids across the occupied West Bank, including five from one family in a northern West Bank village, according to different sources.

The forces raided the village of Iskaka, in the northern West Bank district of Salfit, and detained six people, five of them members of the Harb family, including a father and his son and two brothers.

The Israeli occupation forces also raided several villages and towns in the Ramallah district and detained seven people, five of them from the town of Silwad and two brothers from Ein Yabroud.

Raids were also reported in eight other Ramallah area villages and towns during which homes were broken into and ransacked but without any reports of arrests.

Also, in the north of the West Bank, Israeli soldiers detained a Palestinian man from the village of Jalboun, in the Jenin district.

In the south of the West Bank, the Israeli occupation forces detained three Palestinian men from different towns in the Hebron district after raiding and ransacking their family homes.

A Palestinian resident of the village of Atouf in the Jordan Valley was also detained hours after his release from prison, said the sources.
