Global Alliance for Palestine:
A coordinated action aimed at launching a unified and direct civil intervention to confront public complicity and demand systematic accountability for war crimes and crimes against humanity
Global Mobilisation for Palestine on 10 October
2 October 2026 – London
More than 200 civil society organisations, trade unions, student federations, human rights networks and grassroots groups across six continents are preparing to mobilise for Palestine on Saturday, 10 October, as part of a coordinated day of action spanning more than 60 countries.
The mobilisation is convened by the Global Alliance for Palestine, with the support of the Anti-Apartheid Movement (AAM) and the Global Coalition against Occupation of Palestine (SANED).
The coordinated action seeks to launch a unified and direct civil intervention aimed at confronting public complicity and demanding systematic accountability for war crimes and crimes against humanity committed by Israel, according to the organisers’ statement.
The Global Day of Action brings together markedly different forms of mobilisation under a shared international framework.
Dr Anas Altikriti, Secretary-General of the Global Alliance for Palestine, said:
“After three years of relentless genocide and mounting state-sponsored settler violence, the fiction of restraint and the hollow promises of international diplomacy stand completely exposed. 10 October is a decisive intervention built upon the tireless work of our global movement. We are assembling across every continent under one clear mandate:
- Defend the land.
- End the genocide.
- Halt military supply lines.
- Enforce universal international law.”

The scale of the mobilisation is reflected not only in the number of participating countries, but also in the diversity of the activities being organised. From major demonstrations in cities including London, Sydney/Warrane, Cape Town, São Paulo, Rabat, Quito, Mexico City, Istanbul, Santiago, Reykjavík and Bangkok, to blockades and interventions targeting government and commercial sites, as well as multi-day cultural programmes, public teach-ins, film screenings, solidarity vigils and student-led educational activities, the mobilisation will take a wide variety of forms across the participating countries.
In Athens, Modena and Kuala Lumpur, programmes will extend over several days and will include cultural sit-ins, public teach-ins and visual projections. Elsewhere, mass street mobilisations will take place alongside locally organised community, cultural and educational activities, ranging from film screenings in Nigeria and commemorative vigils in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, to student-led educational activities in Trinidad and Tobago.
Other participating groups are planning direct civil interventions around government institutions, public spaces, companies and financial institutions that organisers say are linked to military supply chains.
The 10 October mobilisation connects movements already organising in support of Palestine in their respective countries, bringing existing local campaigns together through a coordinated global weekend of action. It provides a shared framework through which organisations can act in ways that reflect their own local political and social contexts.
These activities are intended to demonstrate the scale of existing Palestine solidarity mobilisation and to highlight the connections between movements operating across different regions of the world.
The mobilisation centres on two interconnected calls:
- “Defend the Land”
- “End the Genocide”
According to the organisers, these two calls address both Israel’s ongoing assault on Gaza and the escalation of state-sponsored settler violence, land seizures and military raids across the occupied West Bank.
The organisers cite official records indicating that at least 73,000 Palestinians have been killed in Gaza, while published independent studies have reported substantially higher estimates.
Alongside the public mobilisation, the Global Alliance for Palestine is also calling for coordinated legislative action. Participating organisations have begun advancing the campaign by calling on lawmakers to receive constituent delegations, submit parliamentary inquiries concerning arms exports, push for emergency debates, and support restrictions on arms, energy and trade with Israel.
The participating bodies include established anti-war and Palestine solidarity organisations, alongside human rights organisations and grassroots movements from around the world.
Participants include the Stop The War Coalition and the Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament in the United Kingdom; the Federation of Palestinian Entities of Latin America; the Australian Palestine Advocacy Network; Viva Palestina Malaysia and MyCare in Southeast Asia; CODEPINK and Labor for Palestine in North America; and the Palestine Solidarity Alliance in South Africa.
